B-24 Liberator seen in A Century of Flight: 100 Years of Aviation.

The Consolidated B-24 Liberator was an American heavy bomber operated in many theaters of World War II. It entered service in 1941 and with over 18,000 aircraft built was the most produced Allied heavy bomber and most produced American military aircraft. A passenger transport version was designated the C-87 'Liberator Express' whilst the aircraft was known simply as the Liberator I in RAF service.
