Martin PBM Mariner.
The Martin PBM Mariner was a patrol bomber flying boat designed to complement the Consolidated PBY Catalina in service. The first example flew on 18 February 1939 and the type entered service in September 1940. Their use by US forces ended in 1958 but several Mariners soldiered on until the mid sixties with a handful of countries. Around 1,300 Mariners were built.
