Jones flies from the States to Nepal in the Short Solent.
Registration G-AKNP, c/n S.1295 built in 1946. Short Solent 3 of the Oakland Aviation Museum in Oakland, California with fictitious PAN AMERICAN markings (she was used by BOAC). The flight through Pacific is close to the route taken by Pan Am's Boeing 314 from San Francisco to Hong Kong but the turning point is Manila, Philippines.
