The Plywood Pelican was a large aircraft build by C. Montgomery Burns. It was completely build out of plywood. Homer, Grampa and Burns uses the plane to smuggle drugs from Canada into the US. The aircraft comes closes to the Hughes H-4 "Hercules" otherwise known as the "Spruce Goose". The aircraft shown alongside a North American AT-6 Texan, Sopwith Camel, and a Grumman F-14 Tomcat.
